Ubicada al pie de la Cordillera de Los Andes, la Ciudad de Mendoza es una de las más importantes de Argentina, junto con Buenos Aires, Córdoba y Rosario. Tiene todo lo que una gran ciudad puede ofrecer, y al mismo tiempo su tamaño permite recorrerla fácilmente, sin tener que atravesar grandes distancias para ir de un punto a otro.

The Province of Mendoza, also known as “Land of the Sun and the Good Wine”, lives up to its name for its excellent weather. With almost no rainy days, no wind and hundreds of world renowned wineries that allow you to meet and taste one of the greatest pleasures of life. The activities around the wine industry are endless. From classical music series in the middle of the vineyards, to the possibility of harvesting the vine or participate in the traditional “grape stomp”. You can also enjoy the dazzling “Vendimia Festival” and all the schedule activities surrounding that date so important to Mendoza.

The City is an oasis in the middle of the desert, achieved by an ingenious and powerful artificial irrigation system. It is distinguished by its grove, ditches, wide sidewalks and multiple green spaces that offer residents and visitors an excellent life quality.

Its cuisine plays a key role in both the hotels, with their international specialties, and the small restaurants, with their typical and traditional culinary delights. The range is vast, from our famous barbecues to empanadas, and ethnic food of Eastern, Spanish and Italian origins. All of which are accompanied by the best wines of our land, including the world famous Malbec. The city offers a dynamic artistic and cultural life: theaters, museums, art galleries and artisans exhibitions enrich the daily offer. Open and always alive, you will find that pubs, clubs, cinemas and casinos are open until late hours for your enjoyment. Mendoza becomes also in a big “open air shopping center” where you can buy anything you are looking for, from large international and argentinean brands, to all kinds of local products, like olive oil and preserves.

The city is the ideal starting point for tours to the province’s major touristic attractions; the wine roads, mountains, rivers, hot springs and natural reserves, where you can do all kinds of activities such as horseback riding, hiking, skiing, windsurfing, paragliding, rafting, among others. Mendoza can be reached by plane, via Francisco Gabrielli International Airport, or by land, through No. 40 and 7 routes, which communicate the province with the entire country, from north to south and from east to west, and also with our neighbor country, Chile.
